From the APA Hawaii news release, “Leo has been a tireless advocate for the planning profession for over 25 years and is knowledgeable of the issues facing the profession locally and nationally.  Presently a Commissioner for the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission, Leo formerly was Director of the State’s Office of Planning, Manager of the State’s Coastal Zone Management Program, and a Planner for various State agencies and private firms…  Leo’s term as APA President-Elect will begin on January 1, 2020.” [Link to news release on APA Hawaiʻi website]
