Hawaiʻi State Plan Amendments

The Hawaiʻi State Plan (HRS Chapter 226) was enacted in 1978, and been amended 149 times since then, over the course of 47 acts, with the largest series of amendments being in 1986. The plan is now undergoing a major update to address contemporary concerns, such as environmental issues, emerging economic sectors, and evolving social challenges. To aid with this effort, OPSD has created a tracker of HRS Chapter 226 amendments.
